Classic mini perfume bottle by Parfums International for the fragrance, "Chloe". The bottle is unopened. However, this perfume is very old and may not be usable. The stopper is plastic in the shape of two Calla Lilies. The glass bottle is ovoid in shape. There is a cellophane label on the back, printed in silver lettering, with all the specifics - "Parfum, 12 fl. oz., 3.7 ml."

REDKEN LABS, PIQUET, COLOGNE, MINI PERFUME BOTTLE, c.1979
Redken Labs, Inc. introduced "Piquet" in 1979. The decal label on the bottom of the bottle indicates the fluid content as 1/8 fl. oz. of Cologne. The delicate stopper is plastic in the shape of a butterfly. This bottle has never been opened and is completely full. However, this perfume is very old and may not be usable.

HARD-TO-FIND, MINI GOLF BAG PIN, PERFUME BOTTLE, c.1940s
This hard-to-find whimsical mini perfume bottle, in the shape of a golf bag with clubs, is actually a pin. The bottle is empty. The large, threaded, metal cap has a safety pin attached to the side. The heads of the clubs have impressed detail on both sides. The cap has black and red enameled bands. No markings on the bottle or cap.

RENAUD, "SWEET PEA" PAIR OF OPAQUE GREEN PERFUME BOTTLES w/BOX (AMERICAN DEPOT BOSTON), c.1920s
These lovely opaque green glass perfume bottles were made for Renaud and are labeled "Sweet Pea", c.1920s. The bottles are empty. They have threaded brass caps stamped "Germany." The round paper labels, with an embossed crown, are printed in black on the outer edges, "Renaud Paris 1817 / Sweet Pea." The metal box is green with a textured pattern surface and has gold stamping on the cover. There is a large metal hinge on the back. The interior of the cover is lined with satin(?) and stamped in green letters "Renaud-Paris1817 / American Depot / Boston." The interior of the hinge is also covered in satin. The interior of the box bottom is molded with 2 velvet channels for the bottles.

Handling Note: Care should be taken when opening the box. It snaps open -- the bottles pop out of their channels and can fall out!

Brass caps show a hint of corrosion on the bottom edges - definitely not distracting. The label on one bottle shows slight age wear on the outer edges. ROBERT, LE BEAU REVE (THE BEAUTIFUL DREAM), RED ENAMEL PERFUME BOTTLE w/BOX, c.1930
Fantastic, first size -- bottle and stopper are an Oriental red enamel. The bottle contains "Le Beau Reve" (The Beautiful Dream), by Robert, a New York company. The bottle is unopened. Approximately 1/4 of the original fragrance remains. The gold cording around the bottle neck is tied in the back. It is also viscose sealed! The elongated oval bottle has a concave bottom with no markings. The large gold-printed paper label covers the entire front of the bottle and is embossed with the fragrance name, maker's name and "New York." The box is covered with a matte gold paper with red paper edging. The front of the box bottom is printed in red "Robert, Fifth Ave., New York."
Bottle Size: 2 3/8" high x 1 3/8" wide x 9/16" deep (at deepest point).

SIMONETTA, INCANTO, FIRST SIZE, BLACK ENAMEL CROWN, PERFUME BOTTLE w/BOX, c.1955
Lovely, first size, shiny black enamel perfume bottle in the shape of a crown -- contains "Incanto" (Spell), by Italian designer, Simonetta. The bottle is unopened. It is difficult to determine whether there is any fragrance remaining in the bottle - if there is - it is 70 years old and should not be worn! The stopper is clear with faceted edges. The round, gold-printed, paper label on the bottom of the bottle indicates the fluid content as 1/4 oz. The box cover is printed with black leafy vines that drape around the printed fluting. The paper on the cover is embossed to not only simulate the look of fluting - but is made to feel like it too! Simonetta's name is printed on the top of the cover in hazy type with a halow effect around the lettering (simulating a spell, a trance!). The interior of the box bottom has an ivory-colored satin lining that holds the bottle in place.
Bottle Size: 1 7/8" high x 1 3/16" wide (at widest point).
Box Size: 3 1/4" high x 2 5/16" wide. Condition: Bottle and gold-printed label - MINT. Box - very good, with age-related discoloration and scrapes on top. Insert in box cover has 2 splits but stays in place and holds the bottle in place. Foil paper on box bottom has some missing foil (most likely from removal of price sticker). VINTAGE -- BORSARI, COLLECTOR'S FRAGRANCES - 6 EAUX DE PARFUM MINIS IN METAL BOX, c.Early 1970s
Six mini glass bottles with gold-colored, plastic, threaded caps. The metal box has the profile of a deco lady and is marked "BORSARI 1870 / fragranze da collezione." There is no bar code on the box which, probably, dates the presentation to the early 1970s. Included with this set is a, folded, 31-page brochure (2 1/8" x 3 1/4" approx.) describing 27 Borsari fragrances in Italian, English and French. The fragrances in this box are marked on the bottom of the box in Italian and English for the first group (A).

Viole (Violet) - lilac ribbon; Mughetti (Lily of the Valley) - turquoise ribbon; Tuberosa (Tuberose) - light yellow ribbon; Rosa Tea (Tea Rose) - orange ribbon; Chypron (Chypron) - dark green ribbon; Cocktail di Flora - yellow ribbon.

Fabulous classic mini Chloe Narcisse, by Chloe launched in 1992(33 years ago). The bottle is clear glass in an urn shape. The white frosted plastic floral stopper is a large flower with petals and a light green, ball-shaped stamen. Nearly all the perfume remains in this 1/8 ounce size bottle. A silver foil, oval, hang tag with fragrance name and maker is attached with gold cord at the neck of the bottle.

Fabulous mini perfume bottle designed by Salvador Dali after his famous neoclassical, surrealistic painting, Apparition of the Visage of Aphrodite of Cnidos in a Landscape (1981). This colorful and fanciful bottle replicates the nose and lips features of Aphrodite in the painting. The bottle is the lips produced in clear glass. The frosted plastic stopper is the nose. Salvador Dali's first fragrance, named "Dali," was launched in 1983. This 1/8 ounce sized bottle is unopened and full.

Fabulous Faberge, Babe, launched in 1976. This is the fragrance that defined the 1970s woman - sassy, classy, confident and gorgeous! The front of this great Babe mini has a textured glass disk design with the fragrance name on the front, Babe Cologne, embossed on it. Plastic cap. Wonderful, hard-to-find, 49-year-old mini! NOTE: This 1/8 ounce size bottle is now empty, all of the cologne has evaporated.

Unique iridescent, peach-colored mini perfume bottle for Christian Dior's, Dune, EDT. Dior launch this fragrance in 1991. He created it "as a tribute to his childhood home in Granville,(France). An invitation to travel and to find serenity, a search for happiness and one's inner self." The bottle design is clear, simple and smooth, with a clear, delicate peach, ball stopper. Black enamel fragrance and maker name on the front. About 2/3 of the fragrance remains in this 1/8 ounce sized bottle.

The fragrance, Sirene, was introduced in the year 1994 by the design house of Vicky Tiel. This lovely replica mini comes in a frosted tall bottle with two secductive nude ladies molded into the glass. Each lady is repeated twice in the over-all design of the bottle. The stopper is a white frosted sea shell. I chose this bottle for my collection because of its appealing classical nude design and because it is a replica of the full-sized bottle. Comes in original box. The bottle still has all of its fragrance.

The fragrance, Femina, was introduced in the year 1993 by the design house of Parfums Alberta Feretti. The bottle design is by Serge Mansau. It is a squat, round, clear, green glass bottle with a plastic pink spiraling frosted stopper. This elegant little mini was made in Italy. It retains all of its EDP and comes in original box. Cello label on the bottle bottom. I chose this mini bottle for my collection because it is colorful and has an interesting design. This fragrance has been discontinued making it difficult to find.

This is the vintage, iconic Duchess of Paris, Oriental urn mini that held their popular Infatuation fragrance. The milk glass ginger jar bottle has a black enameled footed base. The cap is a black bakelite ginger jar lid. The perfect silver foil label with black lettering is on the front of the bottle. This very vintage 87-year-old example is in pristine condition!

This vintage mini from Jovan is seldom seen. It has been one of my favorites; I sought out figural or colorful bottles to add interest to my mini collection. The black glass bottle is simple in design and provides the "pedestal", or base, displaying the gold scupture of a female torso! Figural, creative, interesting and clever, yes! The torso sculpture stopper is gilded and Jovan aptly named the fragrance, Sculptura. Perfect label on the bottom.

Creative Yves Rocher, 8e Jour, mini perfume bottle. This classic mini is interesting for its deep amber color, the satiny feel of its frosted glass, and the inverted triangular shape. The contrasting stopper is a very pretty cobalt blue. The unique French fragrance name uses the French ordinal abbreviation "8e" for "eighth" or "8th" in English. So, "8e Jour" in French translates to "8th Day" in English. Cello label on back of bottle. This eye-catching mini also comes with its box.

Paco Rabanne lauched his men's fragrance, Xs, in 1993. Classic clear glass bottle with silver plastic cap and gray enamel printing on front.

The masculine bottle is an interesting smokey green color with a black cap. The label is white enameled lettering with two vertical gold stripes on the front of the bottle.

VINTAGE, FABERGE, BRUT FOR MEN, MINI PERFUME BOTTLE, c.1964
This vintage Faberge fragrance was launched 59 years ago,in 1964. This wonderfully, nostalgic, vintage mini is going to make some sweet little old lady say, "Awww! That was the cologne my Honey always wore when we were courting way back then in the 60s!" The fragrance is Brut. "Oh, what a hunk he was, and I loved the way he smelled when he wore Brut after-shave cologne." The masculine bottle is green glass with a silver cap - now showing its age. The label on the front is gray enameled lettering, "Faberge, Brut, for Men." A hint of the wonderful Brut fragrance still lightly lingers in the bottle and cap.

The bright red, original box has an unusual diamond shape.

This listing is for Vent Vert, a classic mini, from the fragrance house of Balmain. It was launched in 1992. The bottle presents a crisp, clean rectangular shape in clear glass. The fragrance name, Vent Vert, and maker, Pierre Balmain, Paris, are enameled in green script on the front of the bottle. "Vent Vert" in French translates to "green wind" in English. What caught my eye about this bottle was its light green plastic stopper depicting a sheaf of greenery gently swaying in the wind. Color and design were my criteria when adding new perfume bottles to my collection and Vent Vert filled the bill. Cello label on the bottom. More than 1/2 the fragrance remains in the bottle. Comes in original box.

Naj-Oleari is an Italian fashion house founded in 1916. They became famous in the 1980s for their eye-catching all-over prints; a small sample is replicated on the front and interior of the box for their fragrance Naj-Oleari. This classic, hard-to-find mini comes in an unusally shaped demi-lune frosted bottle with "Naj-Oleari" embossed in the glass on the flat front panel. The colorful turquois stopper has a conical shape with concentric rings. The cello bottom label is printed in turquois enamel. A unique, and colorful Italian mini for your collection.

The oval frosted stopper is a very pale green. The fragrance name, Nature, is written in green enamel on the front of the bottle, and the EDP is a subtle pale green color, also. Cello label on bottom. The bottle is full of fragrance with no evaporation. Original box.

Wonderful, very old, early 1900s, figural mini perfume bottle from Kaya for the fragrance, Narcisse. Kaya was producing perfumes in the early 1900s. This figural mini represents an Oriental Buddha. The front label is black and gold foil with the fragrance name, Narcisse, in Chinese-style lettering. New cork stopper. (Fragrance is not original. The bottle was filled to highlight detail in the photographs. It will be discarded before mailing.)

Fabulous mini perfume bottle designed by Salvador Dali after his famous neoclassical, surrealistic painting, Apparition of the Visage of Aphrodite of Cnidos in a Landscape (1981). This colorful and fanciful bottle replicates the nose and lips features of Aphrodite in the painting. The bottle is produced in clear glass with frosted peach lips and a matching peach stopper. Bottom cellophane lable identifies the maker as Parfumes Salvador Dali, Paris and the fragrance as Dalimania, EDT. Bottle is unopened and full. Comes in original box.

Fabulous classic mini Kashaya, by Kenzo launched in 1994. The bottle is unusual for its irridescent peach glass. It is what drew me to it. The irridescent glass is also covered with molded leaves. The plastic stopper is an honey-colored coil. More than half the fragrance remains in this 1/8 ounce size bottle. Cello label on the bottom. What a delightful way to add some sparkle to your mini collection.

The Shulton company was established by William Shultz in 1934 and the fragrance, Old Spice was trademarked in 1936. This wonderful old mini is a clear-glass bottle with colorful enamel painting on all sides of the bottle. The early American motif depicts a young girl in red dress on the front and deep green flowers on the back and sides. Clear glass disk stopper. This is a very sweet, detailed-collectible vintage mini. The bottle once held the classic fragrance Old Spice.

Wonderful Nina Ricci three-piece set with signature mini perfume bottles. The set includes "L'Air du Temps, Coeur Joie and Fille d'Eve" glass bottles. Each bottle has a different colored ribbon and two bottles have their original hang-tag labels. Original box with great graphics on top and bottom. "Les Parfums - Nina Ricci" printed on top. Interior satin lining. Some perfume remains in the "L'Air du Temps" and "Fille d'Eve" bottles. "Coeur Joie" bottle is empty. Gold foil label on back of box.
Size: Bottles measure 1 1/4" to 1 5/8" high. Box measures 5 3/4" long x 2 1/2" wide x 5/8" deep. Condition: Bottles are in excellent condition. Ribbons and hangtag labels very good condition. RARE, WRIGHT, GLASS SHOE, MINI PERFUME BOTTLE, c.1876 to 1908
It always amazes me that early American perfume bottles, those from the 1800s and the turn of the 20th century have survived to this day. This shoe is one of them. What are even more amazing to find are these early American perfume bottles in miniature size. They are very rarely seen. The shoe is made by the Wright Beauty Supply Company of Philadelphia, PA, sometime prior to 1900. This mini gem has the added bonus of an old label that reads, "Believe My Love is Sincere." The instep of the shoe is embossed with a flower and four leaves, and the sole of the shoe is embossed in the glass, "WRIGHT, PHILA."

What a great vintage, 1915, sample perfume bottle! Clear glass bottle from the Wrisley Perfumer company of Chicago for the fragrance, "San Toy." The front label has wonderful graphics of a red oriental chrysanthemum. The back of the bottle has "Wrisley" embossed in big bold letters. The sides of the bottle have an embossed "W" in a diammond-shaped cartuche. Remnant of old cork stopper. These small vintage sample bottles make a charming grouping and an interesting display. PAGNACCOS, CYRUS GREEN STARLIGHT, MINI PERFUME BOTTLE
The maker, Pagnaccos, and the fragrance, Cyrus Green Starlight (for men), are very elusive and I could find very little about them. The bottle, however, is interesting. The clear glass square bottle serves as a pedestal for the light green plastic stopper modeled as a Greek male torso sculpture. Very attractive bottle, despite its mysterious origins. The bottle originally held a perfume (since evaporated) that was pale green color and matched the color of the stopper. Discontinued and difficult to find. A mystery bottle for your mini collection.

MILLER, NICOLE MILLER FOR MEN, MINI PERFUME BOTTLE, c.1993
This is a fascinating classic mini by Nicole Miller for her signature masculine fragrance, Nicole Miller, launched in 1993. Basically simple in design, its appeal is in its very unusual color - frosted, orange glass, its wonderful satiny "feel" and the creative concept of the bottle and packaging. The ribbed bottle is molded to simulate corrugated cardboard. The plastic simulated "crunched cardboard" cap, gathered at the neck, completes this unique bottle. Cello label on the bottom. The bottle is full of EDT and comes in its original "corrugated cardboard" box. Bottle color and innovative design are elements that can elevate a collection from ordinary to wow! This is one of the "Wow" bottles that meets those criteria.

Identified as the "Petite Mouse" in Bud Hastings comprehensive Avon collector book covering California Perfume Company and Avon fragrance products from 1886 to 1994. This charming petite mouse is possibly the most difficult of the Avon mini bottles to find in excellent condition. The ears are often broken off and the snake chain tail is often missing or badly damaged. This is one of my Avon favorites. Frosted glass body with textured gold head and flexible snake chain tail. The 1/4 oz. bottle has at least half of the Brocade perfume remaining. Bottom label.

Fabulous classic mini, Oscar, was Oscar de la Renta’s first perfume and is as timeless as the house’s designs. The fragrance was launched in 1977. The irregular-shaped bottle is clear glass. The plastic frosted, floral stopper is a large flower with a dew drop visible on one of the petals. Most of the perfume remains in this 1/8 ounce size bottle. Cello label on the bottom. This tiny, mini perfume bottle by Molyneux mimics the shape of an iceberg with jagged edges on stopper top and perfume bottle base. Black enamel name and maker on front. The advertising catch-phrase was, "Men Love Women Who Wear It." This is the original version of Vivre launched in 1971.

In 1995, Didier Calvos launched his spicy-woody fragrance for men called, Heros. The gray enameled bottle gives the appearance of steel or other metal and is in the shape of an anatomically correct, classic, male torso. The Italian word for man, Uomo, is molded into the glass on the thigh of the torso. It was last marketed by Uomo Parfums Paris. Full of eau de toilette (EDT); original box. Made in Italy.

This listing is for a very unique and fascinating classic mini. Parfum Duck perfumery launched a new fragrance, Blossom, in 1990. The frosted and texured bottle for Blossom is in the shape of a branched tree stump! The stopper is a plastic blossom. The bottle sits upright on a tiny base and the stump sits at an angle as seen in the photos. This is one mini bottle I just had to have for my collection, with its very unique design and a colorful, figural stopper.

VANDERBILT, LUCRETIA VANDERBILT, VINTAGE MINI PERFUME BOTTLE, c.1927
Lovely cobalt blue cased-glass mini perfume bottle for Lucretia Vanderbilt's signature fragrance. The bottle has a deco gold stenciled butterfly in a circle on the front. The original silver logo has oxidized to more of a gold tone. The stopper with attached dauber with floral design in cobalt blue glass. The bottom of the bottle has a paper label that reads, "A Concentrated Extract, Lucretia Vanderbilt." Original cord around the neck with metal button embossed with the initials "LV" binding the ends of the cord. This very vintage 97-year-old bottle comes with original leather pouch. The inside of the leather pouch is stamped with the maker's name in silver.

This special Faberge bottle has a pattern of leaves molded around the clear glass pot. The bright, nasturtium-orange cap is molded as a bouquet of flowers sitting on top of the pot. Bottom label with maker and fragrance names. More than half full of the Fleurs du Monde fragrance remains. This is a discontinued fragrance and is a hard-to-find, special holiday Faberge mini with its unusual orange cap.

The fragrance, Je Reviens, was launched in 1931. This little miniature Worth, Je Reviens is probably from the 1960s or 1970s. Cobalt blue glass bottle with a figural gold plastic cherub or angel stopper. The fragrance is actually green in color, and this bottle is full of original perfume. The front is embossed, "WORTH" and the bottom is embossed "LALIQUE FRANCE". This mini Worth bottle adds figural interest and color to any collection.

VINTAGE, LENTHERIC, TWEED, MINI PERFUME BOTTLE, c.1960s
Lentheric created Tweed in France around 1933. It became popular in the United States in the 1940s to the early 1960s. Curiously, they sponsored a $60,000 advertising promotion contest in 1957, and the winning entry provided their unconventional slogan, "Blame it on Tweed," which was apparently very successful, and ran for several years in the 1960s. This bottle is likely from that era. Clear square bottle with black enameled letters on the front. Gold plastic cap with large wooden overcap. Bottom of the bottle is embossed, "Lentheric."

From the fabulous 1920s, is this sweet, Egyptian Bouquet, art deco mini by Hirsh of Toledo, Ohio. The bottle is ball-shaped, clear glass with a textured glass band around the equator area. The bottle screws into a black bakelite base that serves as the bottle cap. The fragrance name, Egyptian Bouquet, capitalizes on the rage of the day, the discovery of King Tut's tomb by Howard Carter in Egypt. Just about everthing Egyptian was desirable! Perfect silver foil label on the bottom with maker and fragrance name.

Exceedingly rare replica sample bottle for Ciro's fragrance, "Oh la la." The mini, clear, torso-shaped bottle is dressed in a tiny black suede leather dress or apron with a salmon suede leather bow. The dress/apron has its own little snap closure on the back. Brass cap. Foil fragrance label is under the dress/apron. Bottom is embossed, "Parfums Ciro, Bottle Made in France." Irresistibly adorable and rare!

This is another of the amazing bottles from early American perfume industry that have survived into the 21st century. This bottle, molded as a woman's hand is occationally seen in its much larger size. This mini version is very rare! The bottle shows a woman's fingers and hand to the wrist. The underside of the bottle is embossed, "TRADE T MARK". The old label on the top of the hand is a bouquet of flowers with the word, "Sweet." Original cork. Excellent example of a rare and interesting early American Tappan mini perfume bottle.

PARFUMS CHEVALIER GARDE, INC., RARE MINI, PERFUME BOTTLE, c.1937
This rare mini size bottle produced by Parfums Chevalier Garde, Inc.* was used for their fragrances, Fleur de Perse, HRH and Roi de Rome. The clear and frosted boule bottle has an escutcheon with the initials "PCG." Large frosted glass stopper molded as a double-headed eagle wearing Russian imperial crown and shield, inspired by the Russian Chevalier-Garde. Bottle is nearly full of original perfume. This bottle is the smallest of 3 sizes produced by this company.

* This bottle is more difficult to find than the version with a frosted flared base. That version was used by the Imperial Formula company for their fragrance "Mine Alone" and possibly other fragrances produced by them. The escutcheon on that bottle has the molded script initials "IF."

Fabulous classic mini Gres, by Cabotine, launched in 1990. The bottle is clear glass. On the front of the bottle, in green enamel, is written, Cabotine de Gres, Paris, 3.2 ml. Bottle made in France is molded into the glass on the bottom. The stopper for this bottle has a different twist. Not only is there a forest green plastic floral stopper, but there is an additional cluster of four additional flowers that attaches to the stopper ... see additional pictures. Most of the perfume remains in the bottle. This is a unique element to this presentation.

LUXOR, LUXOR BOUQUET, MINI PERFUME BOTTLE, c.1930s
This charming vintage mini sample perfume bottle is by Luxor (Luxor Toilet Requisites, Armour and Company, Chicago, Illinois) The exotic-sounding name Luxor, suggests the mysteries of ancient Egypt, but was, in fact, a brand created by the Chicago-based Armour & Company. The Luxor trademark, was first used in 1910. The sample mini in this listing is a tall, slender clear glass bottle with a front label, and a cork stopper. The label has a bouquet of posies and "Luxor Bouquet/Luxor Ltd/USA."

SCHIAPARELLI, ZUT, PERFUME BOTTLE, c.1948
Created in 1948, Schiaparelli, Zut. One dram size (1/8 fl.oz. Clear and frosted glass bottle molded as a woman's figure from the waist down, with her underpants, legs, and frosted glass material crumpled around her ankles. The bottle possibly depicts the hips and legs of May West, American actress and singer. Schiaparelli designed many of her costumes. May's dress form and a certain incident may have been the inspiration for the bottle and fragrance name. As the story goes... May West was supposedly trying on a skirt that fell down around her ankles. Ms. West then expressed her exasperation with the situation by saying,"Oh,Zut!!", the German equivalent of Damn!. Hence, Elsa Schiaparelli chose the name "Zut" and the waist-down bottle design for her new fragrance. The story continues that the fragrance did not go over well in America because respectible ladies in the 1940s were scandalized by the name and refused to wear a fragrance called Damn!!! The clear bottle has a flat gold-colored brass cap. A gold foil label with "Zut" written in green enamel covers the top of the cap. Green fabric ribbon is tied around the waist. VERY RARE, SCHIAPARELLI, SI, MINI, PERFUME BOTTLE, c.1957
Schiaparelli, Si (Yes!), very rare sample bottle, a tiny replica of the full-sized perfume bottle. The clear glass bottle is realistically molded as a Chianti wine bottle wrapped in its straw basket. Interestingly, the straw baskets served two purposes. The blown glass bottles had rounded bottoms because they were simple to manufacture. The woven baskets provided a flat, stabilizing base so the bottles could stand upright and were not easily tipped over. The other purpose for the straw covering was protection against breakage in shipping. This little bottle has a brass threaded cap and an orange twisty around its neck (a later addition). An excellent gold foil label covers the bottom of the bottle. Retains almost all of its perfume. This is a rare opportunity to add this unique replica mini to your collection.

BOURJOIS, BEAU BELLE, VINTAGE PERFUME BOTTLE, c.1950
In 1863, the Bourjois Company was established in the theater district of Paris with the actor Joseph-Albert Ponsin preparing the first makeup and perfumes for actors and actresses out of his home. In 1868, Ponsin turned over operations of the company to Alexandre-Napoléon Bourjois, and the company became an international success. This clear glass Bourjois bottle once held the perfume, Beau Belle. Its unique shape is the capital letter "B". The label, wrapped around the side of the bottle, is a gold foil bow. It has the Bourjois name and the fragrance name on it in white letters. The ball cap is metal (brass). This Beau Belle mini bottle comes with original fuchsia, silk, pleated, drawstring pouch. The ends of the drawstrings are bound with tiny brass disks stamped with the initial "B". An excellent mini perfume bottle to enhance your mini collection.

VERY RARE, SUZY, ECARLATE, MINI, PERFUME BOTTLE, c.1939
This is an extremely rare sample-size miniature made for Suzy, a famous Parisian milliner. Like the full-sized Baccarat bottle, this clear glass, smallest-size mini is shaped like a stylized mannequin used by milliners, when designing, constructing and displaying their creations. The mannequin has a slightly tilted head and graceful neck. The bottle held Suzy's fragrance, Ecarlate, which translates to "scarlet." The stopper "hat" is a small red plastic cap. The red ribbon, a later addition on this bottle, replicates the look of the original mini that had a red ribbon bow with a double-sided gold foil label attached to the long red streamers. This is a very rare mini, seen only in the book, and in the auction referenced below.

Truly a rare gem! This is a Vantines perfume bottle for Wistaria Blossom fragrance. It is able to be accurately dated by the Internal Revenue tax stamp attached to the back of the bottle. This particular propriatary (a tax collected on alcohol, tobacco and other tangible goods) 1/8 cent tax stamp is referenced as being used from 1914 to 1918. "Vantines" is embossed in the glass on the back of the bottle. The label is a tiny graphics masterpiece in its own right, with the image of an oriential lady in a red kimono enjoying her garden. The bottle has a metal (brass?) screw-on, overcap with an original cork stopper in the neck of the bottle, a very old and unique type of closure.

VINTAGE, PARK & TILFORD, FAOEN NO 3, MINI PERFUME BOTTLE, c.1926
Park & Tilford was a New York company with a clever slogan: "Park & Tilford offers exquisite perfumes that make you a queen for every occasion, without costing a king's ransom." (No truth in advertising back then!) The fragrance, Faoen 3 was trademarked in 1926. As a new collector, the first time I saw a Park & Tilford perfume bottle for sale, I was immediately transported back to the musty, dusty, wood-floor, hometown "Five and Dime" store of my early childhood in Medford, Massachusetts. It is there in the 1940s that I first saw P&T perfume bottles for sale. This humble little mini perfume bottle holds great nostalgia for me, and perhaps, for you, too! The clear glass pyramid-shaped bottle has a large black bakelite cap that conforms to the pyramid shape of the bottle. A gold foil label with 1930s graphics covers the front of the bottle.

PAQUIN, 9 X 9, MINI PERFUME BOTTLE, c.1939
Jeanne Paquin was a leading French fashion designer, known for her modern and innovative designs. She was the first major female couturier and one of the pioneers of the modern fashion business. The couture house, Paquin of Paris, France, introduced perfumes beginning in 1939, and eventually merged with Worth in 1954. This listing is for a wonderful black glass bottle for Paquin's perfume, "9 X 9" introduced in 1939. The gold foil shield-shaped label on the front bears the frangrance name. An old European-style price label is on the bottom. However, the star of this fragrance creation is the gold metal stopper with a motif resembling pleated fabric topped with a blue cabochon stone.

The fragrance, Quelque Fleurs (Some Flowers), was trademarked by Houbigant in 1912. This mini clear glass multi-faceted bottle with a gold plastic ribbed cap is probably from the 1960s. It has a gold foil label on the bottom.

Iconic violin-shaped perfume bottle for Dana's, Tabu fragrance. The choice of a violin-shaped bottle for their highly successful cologne was not surprising. It was inspired by the long-running 1930s-40s advertisement for Tabu cologne featuring the painting, "The Kreutzer Sonata (1901)" by Rene-Xavier Prinet, showing a violinist, overcome with passion, breaking off his performance to embrace his female accompanist. The advertisement's tagline was "Tabu, the forbidden fragrance"!

Tiny irregular-shaped, clear glass bottle. Frosted white plastic irregular stopper. This classic mini bottle was once filled with the Caron fragrance, Infini (Infinite, in English). "Caron" embossed on bottom of bottle. I searched the internet for an example of an unopened Infini bottle for the correct placement of the stopper...there is a right and a wrong way to place the stopper in the bottle.

Classic 1994 mini perfume bottle. Dolce & Gabbana is an Italian luxury fashion house founded in 1985 in Legnano (a Province of Milan) by Italian designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. The two met in Milan in 1980 where they designed for the same fashion house. In 1982, they established a designer consulting studio of their own that became "Dolce & Gabbana. This is their men's fragrance, Dolce & Gabbana (Pour Homme) EDT, in a clear glass simple bottle with a dark blue cap. Filled with their clear signature fragrance, and comes in a dark blue flocked box. Made in Italy.

VERY VINTAGE, LANGLOIS, CARA NOME, VIAL, MINI PERFUME BOTTLE, c.1917
Over 100 years ago, the Langlois Perfume Company released their Cara Nome fragrance. This eight-sided vial held a sample of this new perfume. Clear glass bottle with dark green bakelite cap. Perfume has all evaporated but a remnant of the viscous seal is still around the neck. The wonderful old graphics on the tiny sliver label on the front of the vial are 1920s-30s deco. I found it fascinating!

VINTAGE, COTY, EMERAUD, MINI PERFUME BOTTLE, c.1930s
Coty, Inc. is a beauty brand founded by Francois Coty in 1904. Born Joseph Marie Francois Spoturno, he was a native of Corsica. He moved to Paris and adopted the more French-sounding name of Francois Coty. Coty introduced the fragrance, Emeraud, to the market in 1921. This clear glass, beveled flask bottle with green bakelite cap is shown in various 1937 and 1939 Christmas ads for Coty products dating it to over 80 years old! Two labels on the front. The larger label has," Emeraude de Coty" in gold lettering over a gold foil orange and green deco design. The smaller label at the base has "Coty, New York, Cont. 0.20 ozs." in green letters. Bottom of the bottle is embossed "Coty". This very old classic Coty mini is a little jewel to add to your collection.

OLD SOUTH PERFUMERS, PLANTATION GARDEN, BLOWN GLASS MINI PERFUME BOTTLE, c.1941
Most commercial perfumes come in molded glass perfume bottles. However, this unusual example is a blown glass perfume bottle that was used by Old South Perfumers for the fragrance, "Plantation Garden." The bottle has a lovely delicate tapered-waist. The bottle is topped with a tiny green plastic screw-in stopper. A partial cello label remains on the bottom of the bottle. I find it amazing that these fragile little perfume gems have somehow managed to survived the decades. This bottle is almost 85 years old! Wonderful 1937 mini perfume bottle by Duchess of Paris. The bottle is empty now, but once held 1/8 fl. oz. of "Infatuation" fragrance. It is shaped like an Oriental urn on a molded base with 5 tiny molded feet. The more commonly found Duchess of Paris, Infatuation bottle is the white, milk glass bottle with a black bakelite cap. This hard-to-find version in clear glass with a lilac, red, and blue speckled bakelite cap is a very unique, figural, 83-year-old mini for your special mini colleciton!

Very pretty and very detailed early American fancy shoe perfume bottle. This particular example is abundantly molded with interesting design elements in the glass. Beading and floral elements cover the entire top of the shoe, and it also has a unique high back style. An old label reads, "From a Faithful Friend" with a portrait madalian of a lady in blue.

VERY RARE, DOROTHY GRAY, MAGIC HOUR, MINI PERFUME BOTTLE, c.1952
Very rare, replica sample bottle created by the glassmaker Pochet et du Courval in 1952 for Dorothy Gray's fragrance, "Magic Hour" (L'Heure Magique). The unconventional shape of the clear glasss bottle resembles a piece of multi-faceted, precious ore, and is also reminiscent of the Ruba Rombic style. In 1928, a glass designer by the name of Reuben Haley designed a line of glassware named, Ruba Rombic, for the Consolidated Lamp and Glass Company. It was innovative and extremely popular for its Cubist-style, multi-faceted motif. This bottle, though similar in style, is not Ruba Rombic. It replicates the design of the stopper on the full-sized bottle. The bottle has a glass inner stopper and a clear Lucite overcap. Silver foil label on the bottom. A most unique, very rare, and eye-catching bottle for your mini collection.

VINTAGE, EVYAN, WHITE SHOULDERS, MINI PERFUME BOTTLE, c.1940s
White Shoulders was launched by the design house of Evyan sometime in the 1940s, 1943-45. The company was named for Evelyn Diane Westall, the wife of the company's owner, Dr Walter Langer. Evyan advertised that all their products were made in America, and they wanted to show that American perfumers could compete in the industry with Europe, especially, France. Also these were the war years, World War II, and Americans wanted to show their patriotism by supporting American industries. This seventy-something year old nostalgic treasure is made of clear glass with a peach plastic ball cap. Front paper label with a "cameo" of a lady's bust and fragrance name.

MUGLER, ANGEL, MINI PERFUME BOTTLE, c.1992
Thierry Mugler's, Angel (Once Upon a Star), is my personal favorite scent. An added bonus is that I also love the bottle. This clear glass mini version holds 1/8 fl.oz. (.17 fl.oz.) of fragrance. The creative design allows the five-pointed, star-shaped bottle to rest at an angle. The top point of the star is the silver plastic stopper with Thierry Mugler's name and fragrance name, Angel, on two facets of the stopper.

HARD TO FIND, LACROIX, C'EST LA VIE!, MINI PERFUME BOTTLE, c.1990
C'est la Vie! was the Paris designer Christian La Croix's only fragrance. It debuted in the United States in 1990. The fragrance was presented in a bottle creatively designed by Maurice Roger. The beautiful amber-colored glass bottle is solftly curved, a semi-free-form shape, not symetrically rounded. The neck is encased in two black rings. The unique enameled-glass stopper represents a small piece of branch coral. The front label is painted in black enameled lettering. Bottom is printed, "Made in France." The bottle held 1/8 ounce of C'est la Vie! eau de toilette; a remnant of the fragrance remains. This lovely bottle, now over 30 years old, was discontinued and is now hard-to-find. Original box.

This delicate mini perfume bottle was made by Worth for the fragrance "Je Reviens." The bottle is empty. Although this fragrance was introduced to the market in 1931, I believe the bottle dates to a much later time - possibly the late 1940s or early 1950s. It is round but flask-shaped. The cap is gilded plastic. The gold foil label is printed in red "Je Reviens Worth Paris France." The tiny little oval bottom is molded in raised letters -- French Bottle.

This mini perfume bottle was made by Raphael and contains the fragrance "Replique." No evaporation -- the bottle is completely full -- never been opened. However, this perfume is old and should not be worn. The cap appears to be metal. The bottom of the bottle is molded in raised letters - RAPHAEL FRANCE HP.

This mini perfume bottle was made by Jean D'Albret for the fragrance "Ecusson" (Escutcheon), c.1952. The name aptly describes the shape of the gold foil label (a shield). The bottle is empty. The label is printed in white lettering (difficult to capture in the photos due to reflection). The cap is gold-colored metal with a clear plastic, threaded, lining. The tiny oval bottom is molded in raised letters "D'Albret, HP."

This mini was made by Cheramy. The bottle is empty. The pink and green label reads "April Showers Parfum, Cheramy, New York, Cap. [capacity] 1/6 oz. net." The bottle is cylinder-shaped. The green bakelite cap and bottle have an all-around ribbed pattern.

Joubert, a New York company, used this bottle for their fragrance, Blue Waltz. Although the fragrance was introduced to the market in 1927, this bottle probably dates from the 1940s. About 25% of the original fragrance remains. This perfume is old and should not be worn. The rectangular bottle has a blue bakelite cap with a glass dauber attached. The label has the fragrance name printed in dark blue lettering and indicates that, originally, the bottle contained 1/4 oz. of "Perfume." There are no markings on the bottom.

This mini perfume bottle candle used by Lander, a New York company. The bottle is empty. Originally contained 1/8 fl.oz. of "Heaven." The bottle has a twisted design with a burgundy bakelite flame-shaped cap. The silver foil label is printed in black. This bottle was used in the Lander glass boot and glass candleholder.
